Urban Coeur Development, LLC envisioned an ambitious master plan for the area west of Gillham Road between 29th Street and 31st Street. Recognizing the strengths of established Hallmark Cards Corporation Crown Center, burgeoning Beacon Hill and other east-mid-town attractions, the principals of Urban Coeur Development committed to investing in this overlooked neighborhood. Opposite the historic Greenlease Cadillac Building and including the historic Battery Building, the area has a unique of history as the car dealership locus for Kansas City in it’s heyday. These 6 townhomes include the prime pieces along with the most modest units of real estate in the 33 unit development.  Our firm provided services that complimented the skills and expertise of the Urban Coeur Development partnership team. We completed the design and construction documentation less than 12 weeks. The project was a recipient of a 2004 Cornerstone Award given by the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City.
